     Mais um óbito para o mundo da música.

     A doença da moda levou mais uma das grandes vozes negras do panorama musical: a "Rainha do Disco", conforme foi apelidada nas décadas de 70 e 80 do século passado.

    Cantora de sucessos como "Love to love you baby", "I feel love", "Hot Stuff", "Bad Girls", "Last Dance" e "She works hard for the money", Donna Summer (nome artístico para LaDonna Adrian Gaines, nascida em Boston no último dia de 1948) falece aos 63 anos, depois de ter influenciado a carreira de muitos autores, cantores e grupos musicais. Um deles, os Westlife, cantou com a diva afro-americana num dos duetos produzidos, originalmente, com Barbra Streisand: "No more tears (Enough is enough)":

    A versão feminina, mais clássica, havia juntado duas vozes portentosas: Donna Summer e Barbra Streisend.
